The Last IMP Premiere

The ninth edition of the Interactive Media Programme made the IMP 2008 DVD premiere. This attractive DVD with a hilarious user interface presents the shortfilms, interactive movies and other art work made by the students over four months of hard work and intense learning.

This year the 17 students came from Austria, Belgium, Germany, Hungary, Norway, Portugal, Spain and the UK.

Curriculum for New International Media Programme

A new Bachelor's Degree Programme in Media, taught in English, will start in 2009 at TAMK School of Art and Media. The draft curriculum for the programme is now published, and will be sent to partners and friends for comments. The curriculum will be finally approved by TAMK University of Applied Sciences Board in January.

Uppsala Grand Prix to Hannaleena Hauru

Hannaleena Hauru's "If I fall" won the Grand Prix at Uppsala Film Festival. The jury judged:

Laurence Davey, Screenwriter from UK at TAMK

Laurence Davey has been teaching screenwriting to the students of MA in Screenwriting at TAMK School of Art for two weeks. Teaching is not his regular work, but he has agreed to teach screenwriting 20 hours per year at Salford University.

MA in Screenwriting is a joint programme of TAMK and Salford University, so Laureen does his teaching in Tampere this year, like he did already last year.

Backlight 08 Workshop Exhibition
