Like I said when everything moved to andreavascellari.com, I really want to make this more interactive… so let’s start with it!
You know better than me how important it is to know your audience. Indeed today we can use excellent tools to analyze relevant data. For instance if I take Google Analytics, one of my favorite tools, I get good stats related to the geographical location, time, quantity, frequency, etc. but no info for example about demographics data.

Episode: VMC #87 - Ben Hammersley - It’s time to choose
It’s a tough moment for our economy. What Ben says should make think lots of people out there… It’s time to choose between high and low value, don’t sit in the middle.

Episode: VMC #86 - Stowe Boyd - Better Plumbing for the Social Web
@Stowe: Sorry I didn’t have time to add subtitles in Portuguese

Tom makes (again) good points on how we can use the lessons of the web to improve our energy networks. Valuable thoughts from which any cluster could get inspiration:

Duane Nickull, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Ok, you already know that he rocks but did you know about Duane’s World? If not, check it out!

Today I had the pleasure to do a keynote session about Social Media - New Tools for New Innovations.
During my presentation I talked about the second Internet generation we are living in and what will define tomorrow’s network. The bottom line was about how applications built for collective intelligence can support and optimize the innovation process.
Audience: The Finnish regional managers that invited me + external audience (the event was free and open to the public)

During the Blogger Roundtable in which I took part at Web 2.0 Expo in Berlin I asked how was the feeling after the recent Web 2.0 R.I.P post by TechCrunch.
In short: Web 2.0 is not dead, and I couldn’t agree more.
About Tim: A great mind, period. Do I need to add something more?

Tom Raftery - I’ve been one of his faithful subscribers for a long time and I was happy to meet him in the real world last year in Berlin where unfortunately I wasn’t able to record his presentation. This year I didn’t have any technical problem so I edited and released this video of the keynote he had at the Web 2.0 Expo.

Highlights from Mindtrek conference - day3:
Panel: The social media side of mainstream
Timo Vuorensola & Atte Joutsen (Star Wreck Studios Ltd.), Jouni Kantonen (Red Tail Media), Antti Seppänen (Intervisio), Damien Marchi (Fremantle).
The panel was running around new media & mainstream media. It was interesting but I would have rather pushed the conversation a bit further, trying to brake the line of common topics about which we daily discuss online.

Highlights from Mindtrek conference - day 1:
Open source - Fully integrated with business

Remember ESME? Here’s the video I recorded together with Dennis talking about ESME. I released it yesterday on my media channel but I decided to share it also here on my blog because I know that some of you (yes…especially you corporate guys) might find this tool really interesting. Enjoy the video!

A new show is available now on VMC . It’s a video chat that I recorded during last year’s Web 2.0 Expo in Berlin with Reshma Sohoni, CEO of Seedcamp. I wanted to share it with you to give an insight of which kind of people, ideas, startups etc. you’ll find at events like this.
I hope to see you in Berlin!

+ PSSSS…

Like I already said we are going mobile.

I recently posted a fast snippet on what I think about the new Nokia E71 after watching a video <

Hat tip to Ross Dawson.

Let’s try to step out of the fishbowl for a while…
