Episode: VMC #88 - Antti Vilpponen
Nice chat with my social media friend Antti Vilpponen. He is a sharp guy and probably one of the coolest ‘Suomi mates’ able to tell you more about nordic startups. Check the show notes below + enjoy!

Teymur Madjderey is a talented freelancer photographer based in Cologne (Germany). One of the interesting projects he’s working on is ‘Troopies 365′, and I was delighted when I found out that he dedicated today’s shot to me based on iTive.net digital marketing consulting services (disclosure: He is one of our clients, we are working together on some nice projects ).
Enjoy it!

Episode: VMC #87 - Ben Hammersley - It’s time to choose
It’s a tough moment for our economy. What Ben says should make think lots of people out there… It’s time to choose between high and low value, don’t sit in the middle.

Web 2.0 Expo in Berlin Germany
Jen reads my mind. It’s about how we define Web 2.0… “Web 2.0 can be the recession diet for enterprises”. Tim and Brady made good points too.

Here’s a nice video taken by my friend Arne Hulstein together with Mike Butcher (TechCrunch) during the Web 2.0 Expo in Berlin.

During the Blogger Roundtable in which I took part at Web 2.0 Expo in Berlin I asked how was the feeling after the recent Web 2.0 R.I.P post by TechCrunch.
In short: Web 2.0 is not dead, and I couldn’t agree more.
About Tim: A great mind, period. Do I need to add something more?

Web 2.0 Expo (Berlin) - Here’s a nice conversation between Tim O’Reilly and the legendary investor Yossi Vardi.

Yes right! We’ll be there!
It’s not gonna be just me taking part… Why?

During the Web 2.0 Expo in Berlin I met a lot of interesting people. One of them is Karin Hoegh.
Karin is Pod-consultant with a great expertise and a deep understanding of the space. So if you are looking to know more about podcasting or you want to take things to the next level, she is who you are looking for.
Today I received a tweet from Karin that made me smile.

Tim’s keynote from the Web 2.0 Expo (Berlin). 27 min. long, worth watching

Today I read an interesting point and conversation following that opinion about web 2.0 and social media. Chris Brogan’s blog had an visitor, Dennis Fowlett who started from naming Web 2.0 Expo in Berlin boring and went on critizising the benefits of web 2.0.

Hehe… I know this might be handy to someone out there

Have you ever wondered how to impress an inscrutable Venture Capitalist, convince a doubting journalist or perfect the guaranteed door opener for a partner?
Great atmosphere here at the Web 2.0 Expo in Berlin. This video comes straight from the Pitch Camp x.0 – How to Pitch Your Company for Fame and Fortune.

Stephanie’s thoughts:

Highlights from Mindtrek conference - day3:
Panel: The social media side of mainstream
Timo Vuorensola & Atte Joutsen (Star Wreck Studios Ltd.), Jouni Kantonen (Red Tail Media), Antti Seppänen (Intervisio), Damien Marchi (Fremantle).
The panel was running around new media & mainstream media. It was interesting but I would have rather pushed the conversation a bit further, trying to brake the line of common topics about which we daily discuss online.

Highlights from Mindtrek conference - day 1:
Open source - Fully integrated with business
