One company that I follow with interest is Microsoft (disclosure: iTive is partner of Microsoft). Last week I had the irresistible feeling of retweeting the the video that my friend Paolo Tosolini released about Microsoft’s Academy Mobile.

Yesterday after my keynote presentation on ‘Social Media in Education’ I had a nice twitter chat with the one I define the Podcasting Queen my friend Karin Hoegh. Remember her?

Episode: VMC #144 - Social Media in Education
This is the keynote on ‘Social Media in Education’ that I delivered yesterday at ITK in Hämeenlinna, Finland.

Tim O’Reilly: “Web 2.0 is never intended to be a version number, it was really a reflection of what happened after the dot-com bust”
@Tim: you made me smile when you said this.
This time I couldn’t make it to San Francisco but I was hoping that Tim could have start his keynote exactly like he did. Why? Well let’s say to set things clear.

Today I was reordering some footage I recorded during the last months and when I came across some of the videos I recorded with Tim O’Reilly immediately came up to my mind this article that I read on Techcrunch a while ago.

Today ended Open Innocell, a regional development project that we started with iTive in Finland last year. We had a virtual Q&A session in which Neville Hobson was answering to questions related to his excellent keynote “Building Genuine Relationships - 8 Critical Rules for Engagement With Your Audience Online”.

This is a keynote that I presented last month for Open Innocell a project we are running with iTive.net in Finland, but now that the recorded video track is available to be watched on demand I thought to share it also here with you.

Janetti Chon released a great blog post that includes all the hot links from the Bloggers’ Roundtable that we had with Tim O’Reilly, Jennifer Pahlka and Brady Forrest at Web 2.0 Expo Europe. In the post you’ll find also all the links to the videos I created for the session:

How can we measure a distributed web strategy? How can we quantify the ROI related to social media investments?…
…Here I’m thinking “How many times I heard questions like these ones, from CEOs, managers, etc.?”
So this is a great case study by Ted Murphy (Founder and CEO of Izea) that could help you in finding an answer to those questions mentioned above.

I’m a big fan of the series so it came up to my mind to celebrate a Happy Day for iTive.net!
